Richard’s expertise lies in the development
and management of comprehensive advertising plans supporting
brands that are sold through multi-level distribution systems.
He has over 25 years experience in new product development—leading
the successful introduction of over 65 national and regional
brands. Richard received the prestigious EFFIE award from
the New York Marketing Association for work on Jim Dandy Brands.
Richard earned his degree in Journalism from the University
of Georgia and began his advertising career at Tucker Wayne
& Company in Atlanta. Before founding BDI, he served as
the Senior Vice President of Liller Neal Incorporated and
Managing Partner at Van Winkle & Associates.
